The concept of quality of life is imported into medical research along with the change of healthy conception and medical pattern. It has become the aim of medical development already that ensuring and improving people's quality of life. They have done large numbers or research at home and abroad in Cardiovascular diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, rheumatic diseases, urinary system, endocrine system diseases and other chronic diseases. Few people studies exercise intervention on the quality of life of hypertensive patients. There are few research about taijiquan influencing the quality of life of middle-aging and elderly patients with hypertension. It has not been found that using SF-36 measurement tools to reflect taijiquan influencing the quality of life in patients with hypertension. This research will use SF-36 to assess taijiquan exercise on quality of life in middle-aging and elderly hypertensive patients, and discussing taijiquan exercise leading to changes in the quality of life in patients with hypertension, in order to provide reference for kinesitherapy of patients with hypertension and clinical research.Firstly, the researcher choose 80 middle-aging and elderly (40-70 years) hypertensive patients through accessing and blood pressure measure, who are randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group will be observed the changes in quality of life by 3 months and 6 days a week of taijiquan exercise. Test indicators include height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, blood pressure and SF-36.The result is that after 3 months taijiquan exercise, systolic and diastolic blood pressure reduced significantly, and diastolic blood pressure reduces more observably. After 6 months taijiquan exercise, subjects'systolic blood pressure reduces gradually, but there is little change during different stages; Diastolic blood pressure reduces gradually with the extension of time, and there are different changes in different stages; After 3 months taijiquan exercise, the dimension scores of PF, RP, BP, GH, VT and SF increase prominently wondrously, and the dimension scores of RE, MH increase prominently; With the extension of practice time, the PF,RF,BP,GH,VT,RE and MH have different ameliorative effect during different stages of exercise, while the SF has little different ameliorative effect. This research finds the following conclusions:(1) Taijiquan exercise has significant antihypertensive effect, which can be used as a method of adjuvant therapy for blood pressure.(2) Before the experiment, the quality of life in middle-aging and elderly hypertensive patients is generally low, only at a passing level; Males are lower than females and below the pass level. After 3 months taijiquan exercise, the quality of life of middle-aged hypertensive patients improved significantly; The effect is more prominent than females that 3 months taijiquan exercise on the improvement of middle-aging and elderly male hypertensive patients for their own health status and trends of the evaluation, due to emotional problems caused by the situation in the limited functions; The effect is more prominent than males that 3 months taijiquan exercise on the improvement of middle-aging and elderly famale hypertensive patients for their physical and mental health issues on the impact of social activity. The longer Practicing taijiquan, the more remarkable on the quality of life in middle-aging and elderly patients with hypertension.
