The social and economic development should be based on human ’s all-round development as the basic goal. Due to the quality of life constantly improvesand liberation of personality is the core content of human development, so theresearch of quality of life has gradually becomes the focus of attention.Our country has the most population in the elderly in the world,and has alreadyentered the aging society early in the last century,and the aging process is acceleratedceaselessly, The elderly population of social problems especially quality of life issueshave become increasingly prominent. In last few years, with the economic and socialundertakings development, the quality of life of elderly population improvescontinuously, with a good foundation but there are some outstanding issues that notallow to ignore. To strengthen the study on quality of life in elderly population andconstantly improve the involved elderly population policy and enhance the populationquality of life are implementation of the scientific outlook on development and urgentneeds that our country builds comparatively well-off society.In this paper,I use the method of factor analysis to do statistical informationanalysis of data that collected from the Zhuhai city quality of life of the elderly.Thefull text is divided into five parts. The first part briefly states the background purposeand meaning and research summary, and defines the relevant concepts; The second part are the elderly quality of life research index system establishment andoptimization and research methods; The third part is the influence factors analysis ofthe quality of life of the elderly; The fourth part using the factor analysis method toanalysis and research on quality of life of the elderly in Zhuhai city; The fifth partsummarized and discuss the analysis results.
