| The main task of the secondary vocational education is to train the technical personnel with both the better practical ability and the fundamental knowledge. Mathematics is an important required course and a specialized core course. In mathematics teaching, there are some problems to be solved, such as:the mathematics textbooks are unfit for the students, the teaching methods are not so good, the professional skills of the teachers need further improved, the students lack of learning interests of mathematics, the students lack of self-confidence, etc. The teachers should carefully study the present situation and find the solution in order to ginger up the class atmosphere, enhance the enthusiasm of learning and better fulfill the teaching task.The author starts from the problem raised and the research target and integrates the teaching experience in the secondary vocational school. The problems of secondary vocational school mathematics teaching include:First, the traditional teaching method and textbooks have limitation. They ignore the students'practice consciousness which is not good for enhancing the enthusiasm of learning. Second, the quality of secondary vocational school students decline. But the standard of mathematics required has not changed which result in the teaching target hardly achieved and the leaning pressure of mathematics for the students becoming heavier. Third, the basic knowledge of mathematics for more and more students is not satisfying and they lack of self-confidence of mathematics study. Moreover the teachers don't pay more attention to it and thus the students lack of the motivity of the study. Forth, the classroom atmosphere is not active. And it is hard to learn mathematics for most of the secondary vocational school students. So it is difficult to achieve the prospective teaching effects. Fifth, the mathematics does not maintain a close contact with the professional knowledge. The mathematics teaching does not been embodied in the application in the specialty. This makes the students feel mathematics learning has no use in the development of their specialties and lose the motivity of the study.The author gives some advice followed according to the problems and the analysis in secondary vocational school mathematics teaching. First, the teachers should carefully create teaching environment and maintain a close contact with the actual situation of the students in order to inspire the interest of mathematics learning. Second, the stratification teaching method should be adopted. The students are divided into three parts according to the students'general situation and then they are grouped rationally and scientifically and teached in accordance with their aptitude. Third, the teachers should use encouraging method to respect and trust the students. The training of the self-confidence of the students would result in the healthy psychology of the secondary vocational school students. Forth, the teachers should change the contents of the secondary vocational mathematics and serve the professional knowledge. The ability of the application in the practice of mathematics and the solving of the special problems should be embodied. Fifth, the level of running a school depended on the comprehensive quality of the teachers. Therefore, the teaching concept should be updated, the teaching method should be innovated and the teaching research should be regarded to improve the comprehensive quality of the mathematics teachers. |
