Following the basic way of finding problems, analyzing and solving them, this article bases upon macroscopic view to study the necessary and feasibility of active guiding pedagogy in vocational school. It is believed that active guiding pedagogy is an advanced educational concept which in accordance with the vocational school's educational requirements; this pedagogy lays stress on skills training and cover the shortages of vocational students'habits and mode of thinking. However, in China, the active guiding pedagogy is not in common used. It is used in limited scope and is still on the initial level. Especially, influenced and restricted by low cost in education, by subject-based mode teaching, by available model teaching materials and the methods of teaching, the pedagogy unable to show its advantages and can not play its important role in China's vocational school. To resolve these problems, there are several measurements to deal with them in terms of macroscopic view. First, increase the cost in education and give the essential substance security to apply the active guiding pedagogy. Second, reform the educational mode. Change the subject-based mode, the traditional education system, into modularized teaching. Emphasize the studying way, strengthen and cultivate professional skills. Third, adjust the parts of teaching materials accord to active guiding pedagogy. Make the teaching materials be foundation and basement of the active guiding pedagogy so that it can be well applied. Forth, train teachers. Let teachers understand how to use the pedagogy, in the meantime, let them teach and manage students under this pedagogy. Fifth, establish a set of supporting check-up system. With the usage of active guiding pedagogy, following the tracks of the whole teaching processes, examining the education results.
