Curriculum evaluation is not only an elementary step of educational activity in school, but also it is a very important method which makes sure educational activity to develop in a right direct. Because of the long effect in exam-oriented education, there are many problems in curriculum evaluation of our country; some of them have become the serious barriers which advance education for all-around development. In new round of elementary education reform curriculum evaluation reform is paid attention as an important aim. The teachers, principals, researchers and so on who take part in the new curriculum reform should understand the basic idea of evaluation. They should know the information about curriculum evaluation reform around world and study some evaluation ways or methods which reflect new curriculum reform. Comprehensive activity-oriented courses have implemented in every school of all places now, but there are still some problems such as the insufficient about assessment to quality of comprehensive activity-oriented courses and so on. This kind of situation is because of the difference between activity projects, activity contents, activity ways and discipline. Then that is why the assessment to quality of comprehensive activity-oriented courses is special. The research about assessment to quality of comprehensive activity-oriented courses is not so much. The research just could assess the types and characteristics from the eyes of theory. That can not solve the practical problems which the teachers have. Those are why the author should develop a kind of assessment to quality of comprehensive activity-oriented courses system. According to the questionnaire about comprehensive activity-oriented courses by the author, we investigated the students of the primary schools in Yuecheng, Jiangyin. The main research object is student portfolio assessment. The finally aim is to make a process which could take in practice and help the teachers to solve the problems, and to tell the teachers What they need to pay more attention to when practicing student portfolio assessment in of comprehensive activity-oriented courses. The author also makes some suggestions about practicing student portfolio assessment in of comprehensive activity-oriented courses.
