Due to table tennis is entertaining strong, antagonistically weak, physical demand is not high, personnel easy combination properties, such as in many of the sports are, favored by the vast number of students in higher colleges, the favour of table tennis course students choose also increases gradually, but as table tennis exercise in colleges and universities, such as the increase of the teaching mode, the ground equipment, teachers are first drawbacks.This paper adopts literature data method, questionnaire and mathem atical statistics and other sports science research methods of Shanxi Province education10colleges sports professional table tennis elective classes the basic situation, the necessity, feasibility, course target, students and teachers team construction in the problems such as research, and in the light of the actual situation proposed the corresponding development countermeasure and the suggestion.
