Curriculum resources is a bright spot in the new basic education curriculum reform. As the basis for educational curriculum reform, curriculum resources plays more and more important role. The local curriculum resources, one category of curriculum resources, is also increasingly seen its importance in the large number of kindergartens in rural areas. Development and utilization of local curriculum resources helps rural kindergartens to establish science concept and rural kindergartens-based curriculum course. Also, the development of this course is beneficial for promote the professional growth of rural preschool teachers, and help children develop respect and emotions to love the rural local culture.Rural areas have plenty local curriculum resources. Development and utilization these local curriculum resources is a trend for development of kindergartens in rural area. However, for many factors, many rural kindergartens are not making a good usage of local curriculum development and utilization of local resources and leaving many local resources courses to be a waste. To better understand the rural kindergarten curriculum development and usage of local problems, the researcher uses an example of C kindergarten in Changchun, Jilin Province, attempts to make the initial theory and inquiry in rural development and utilization of curriculum resources.This study used case study in qualitative research methods, using interviews, documents, observation, and collection of physical data to gather information. This study was funded by four parts. The first part is Introduction. On the background of local curriculum resources, this study starts in the analysis of domestic literature, then presents research significance of this study as well as research objects and methods. The second part, based upon the researcher's analysis of the classification of the local curriculum resources in the literature review, the researcher described and analyzed the curriculum resources and characteristics of the composition in C local kindergarten. The third part, based upon the analysis of the information gathered, the researcher elaborated and analysis the problems of curriculum resources development and utilization in C kindergarten. Last, the researcher put forward corresponding countermeasures for the exist problems of the curriculum resources development and utilization in C kindergarten.
