Methods for fostering the asking ability of high-school students in Biology Teaching and its applications were analyzed and summed up from references to many literatures. The best ways to develop students'question ability in class were established. In order to develop asking ability and consciousness of science investigation, we designed students' exploration campaigns based on the reorganizing of"To develop scientific investigation abilities", coupled with multimedia courseware.Students will not only acquire biological knowledge during the course of studying, but also gain comprehensiveness, health, harmony and sustainable development to meet the demand of communication and growth, on the basis of our systemic and scientific training and investigations at a certain frequency to form and develop students'investigation abilities. Consequently, quality-oriented education will be realized gradually."Standard of new course"advocates inquiry learning which consists of four successively processes, that is, observation and asking questions→raising hypothesis→designing and completing experiments→drawing conclusions. Raising questions is the first process for inquiry learning and is the basis of an effective inquiry learning. In this article, we illustrate how to develop students'ability to ask questions from" want to ask", "dare to ask" and" be good at asking". Firstly, in the teaching processes of new curriculums, teachers need to design question circumstance and cognitive conflicts actively to induct students'question consciousness and make them comfortable to ask questions. Secondly, teachers build relaxed atmosphere in class and equal and democratic relationships between teachers and students. Teachers should try their best to encourage students to query and to freely state their opinions. Finally, teachers would impart some questioning skills to students. Furthermore, teachers still need to make timely evaluation for students and guide students to make self-evaluation. The quality of students'questions then will be gradually improved.
