All the countries of the world have put the education on the top position of the national economy now. We must develop the education first to improve the entire people's qualities. The key of developing the education quality is to develop the teachers'education qualities. The Fifth National Teachers'Education Conference has given priority to the teachers' education to an important strategy position. Absorbing and using the advanced experience of other countries for reference have immeasurable roles. PDS is one of the patterns of the American Teachers' Education.This pattern could effect a good improving role to the professional development of the high school teachers in our country.First, the author expounded the background of the product of PDS and it's developing steps; second, the author introduced the methods of the high school teachers'professional development in the pattern of PDS, such as Guiding Trainees to be rich of experience, Profession Leading to open the teachers' wide field of vision, Teaching in Colleges to improve the teachers' professional ability; Then, the author summarized the achievements of the high school teachers'professional development in the pattern of PDS:improve the ability of introspection, strengthen practicing ability, improve cooperative communication ability, improve the ability of science study; Finally, the author talks about the inspiration of the PDS Pattern for our Chinese high school teachers'professional developing abilities.The essay makes a profound analysis of the methods and results of PDS with the basic educational theory in the view of the Professional Development of the high school teachers. It analyzes the original research product with the documental investigating approach. Meanwhile, it assisted with the factor analyzing approach and single case study. The essay made an effort to reflect the developing process of the high school teachers in working with the pattern of the Professional Development School. It introduces and comments the developing methods and results of PDS, expecting to make some valuable experience and suggestions for our nation's high school teachers'professional development.
