Currently, education quality is the foundation of the world education reform; as a result, promoting the professional development of teachers has sponsored and guaranteed nationalities to improve education quality. Many schools in varied countries were concerned about teachers'professional development in 1980. Teacher education reform movement that was produced by teachers'professional learning community in US has achieved certain success and therefore promoted professional development for teachers in an effective way. Teachers'professional learning community is an organization for sharing leaning, where they connected by common goal, cooperate to learn, communicate, share experiences, resources and technology, and work together to stimulate teachers'professional development from the premise of willingness and voluntariness. At the same time, Teachers'professional learning community emphasizes on the development of professional teachers under the ecological and cultural cooperation in the natural environment. The Teachers'professional learning community established in China is a little too formal; cooperation between teachers is conducted in the man-made cultural environment, which has restricted teachers'professional development.This paper aims to make a detailed research of Teachers'professional learning community in US in manner of comparative method, so that Chinese primary and secondary teachers can establish and implement the progress of development in professional learning community after leaning a lot from the successful experiences of Teachers'professional learning community in US.The paper can be divided into six parts: The first part is an introduction of thesis statement, based on the review and analysis of research situations at home and abroad, later defines the related concept, and thus put forward the design of my paper.The second part is used to sort out the forming procedure of professional learning community in US, including the theoretical basis and realistic conditions contributed to the formation of the community.The third part is presented to show the content of the teachers'professional learning community in US by explaining the object, content and form in details.The fourth part is focused on the analysis of operation process of the teachers' professional learning community in America by elaborating specifically in treating the operation conditions and process, with specific cases explained.The fifth part is about the analysis of the effectiveness of the teachers'professional learning community in America. It is positive and obvious that the implementation of teachers professional development plays an important role in the cooperative culture, dynamic environment construction, and teachers'awareness stimulation, however, it still goes along with some problems.The sixth part is for the inspiration and reference. Some targeted measures are put forward after analyzing the realistic confusion and needs of teachers'professional development in our country.
