A Case Study Of Teaching Researcher's Role In The Background Of Curriculum Reform

By the developing of basic education curriculum reform,the system of teaching researcher has been focused by many people.The function of devision of teaching and research, the role of teaching researcher and professional development of teaching researcher need to be further studied.I chose the case study method in this paper, chose Y teaching researcher in B devision of teaching and research as the case. I studied the role of teaching researcher in the background of curriculum reform by describing the practice and reflect of teaching researcher in professional life.The first part of paper is a literature review that including the role of teaching researcher in educational history, development of reaserch products about the role of teaching researcher, and the theory of role which applied in the field of education in order to find theoretical basis which used in the later discussion.This paper invested the structure of B devision of teaching and research which Y teaching researcher worked, invested duties of staff and other basicsituations;displa-yed Y teaching resesrcher's progress from a teacher to a researcher; investigated Y teaching researcher's work by one year,one month and one week,investigated the real role of teaching reseacher through five typical cases in the follow which incuding the teaching competition, the backbone teachers training on the distict level, reseach projects, the survey together and exam in the district.On this basis,the paper analyzed the real role of teaching researcher from both the organizational and the individual aspects, proposed the ideal role of teaching researcher in the background of curriculum reform according to the theory of the role of teaching researcher and the investigation above.Finally,the paper shew the suggestions that how to change the real role to be the ideal one.
