The relationship between teachers and students is the fundamental relationship of school education. Since school education began, the teacher-student relationship have continued to change with the times. Since the reform and opening-up, China has been under the influence of the wave of modernization. It profoundly changed the political concepts, economic system, technology, culture, as well as education. As a very important aspect of education, teacher-student relations, no doubt, would change follow the wave.From the reform and opening-up to the middle 1990s, the direction of education reform was democratization and individuation . After the"Cultural Revolution", China re-evaluated the value of educators and intellectuals and emphasized that we should respect knowledge, respect talent, respect teachers, and vigorously carried out reforms in education. On this basis, most people support the "teacher-guide, student-center" theory of teacher-student relationship.Since the mid-90s, the world has been coming into the period of technological revolution, multi-culture and democratization. Our country has made great efforts to promote quality education, innovative education, and subject-oriented education, and emphasized the importance of human beings. People break through the binary oppositional thinking model of relationship between"subject"and"object", put forward democratic and equal relationship thoughts between teachers and students, regarding both as subjects, establish"inter-subjectivity"relations between teacher and student .Summarizing the ideas how teacher-student relationship developed with the times in the past three decades, considering the the current situation, this paper discussed how to establish a good teacher-student relationship. In order to build the harmonious teacher-student relationship, two works are needed to do. First, the good educational concept should be built. Second, the five factors, including teachers, students, schools, families and society, should be imporved under the integrated principles and the humanity principle.
