Young children are the future of the country, and the hope of the nation. In recent years, with the rapid development of socialist market economy, a large number of rural surplus labors started to go out as migrant workers. They not only make great contributions for the city, but also improve their material life level. However, as these farmers seeking jobs in cities, long and separated from their children, a huge underage groups---left-behind children, increases in rural areas. Left-behind junior students, as an important component of the left-behind children, due to living in the special environment, have emerged a series of problems in their process of growing, in which the ideological and moral quality problem is especially prominent. In the time of social transformation, the research of the left-behind junior students'ideological and moral quality problems is very important, because it not only relates to the healthy growth of the left-behind junior students, to the country's long-term stability, but also to the construction of a harmonious socialist society. Therefore, it is the urgent matter to face the problem directly, discover, identify and correct analyze the causes of the problem, seek for the reasonable solution to the situation, improve the ideological and moral qualities of the left-behind junior students, only in this way we can train the qualified personnel for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This article studies the ideological and moral quality problems of the left-behind junior students, analyzes its causes of the problems in depth, and on this basis, explores the solving measures of the ideological and moral problems of the left-behind junior students.The paper is divided into four parts: The first part mainly discusses the reason of choosing this topic, the research significance, the present situation and the mentality and method. The second part through the investigation of the ideological and moral quality overall situation of Yanglin Middle School, in Yueyang, Hunan, analyzes its ideological and moral problems, as the fuzzy of moral cognition, the indifferent of moral emotion, the attenuation of moral faith, the weakening of moral will, the deviation of moral behavior and so on. The third part has discussed the reason of the left-behind junior students'ideological and moral problems: First, the social value is diversity; second, the government pays attention insufficiently; third, the school moral education is weak; fourth, the family moral education is deficiency. The fourth part proposed the solving approach of the left-behind junior students'ideological and moral problems: number one, it is basis to display the leading role of socialism core value system. Number two it is the safeguard to increase the government's attention. Number three it is importance to strengthen the school battle position construction. Number four it is the key to awken parents'responsibility consiousness.
