Left-behind Children Of Migrant Workers Ideological And Moral Problems And Countermeasures

In recent years, because a large number of farmers have entered cities being engaged in labors, a peculiar group--- Unattended Children--- appears in rural area. The special rural area environment that these children give birth to influences them deeply leading to a series of problems. One of the most particularly prominent problems is these children's ideological and moral issue which will not only have an impact on China's rural population's overall quality of the future, but also restrict society balance and the rationalization of the structure as well as a harmonious society's constructing, if it can not be well solved.From three aspects the ideological and moral issue of the children remaining in rural areas has been carried out investigation and discussion studying in the paper. First, investigating and diagnosing Unattended Children's ideological and moral issue by the questionnaire, and using the method of quantitative and qualitative analysis to analyze the data and identifying ideological and moral problem of Unattended Children;Second, analyzing the reasons why this kind of the issue appears, such as, children lack of parent's affection and love, the economic and social status of peasant laborer having great influence on their children, the weakening of school moral education and so on. Third, exploring proposed solutions to the problem of unattended children, for instance, society provides the policy guarantee, the community village committees set up activity centers for children, schools pay attention to Unattended Children's ideological and moral education, promoting the idea of family modern education and building the good atmosphere of family moral education, learning some useful and successful experience on the ideological and moral education of unattended children.
