With the rapid development of economy and modernization,the "left-behind group" in rural areas has always been a topic of social concern and discussion.Among them,"left-behind children" as minors in special groups,their mental health and education development problems have been affecting the hearts of the whole country and society.Ideological and moral education,as an important part of left-behind children's education,is influencing the formation of the left-behind children's life and values and also affecting the process of socialist harmonious society.Being the period of "weaning and rebellious youth",the left-behinds,which lack of correct guidance and attention,shows the aspect of ideological and moral prone,such as moral cognition fuzzy,weak moral will and moral behavior anomie,etc.Therefore,to explore the causes and countermeasures of left-behinds' ideological and moral problems and strengthen ideological and moral education can not only help to coordinate the healthy growth of body and mind,but also promote social harmony and stability of the whole country.This paper starts with the students of Enshi Grand Canyon Middle School by adopting the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,field interviews and etc.using the combination of a comprehensive analysis of the left-behind children in rural middle school on thoughts,psychological characteristics and behaviors,etc.I analyzed their existing problems and causes in ideology and moral character education.Due to the absence of family education,school moral education of the values and the ignorance of the ideology and moral education of left-behind children from all walks of society etc.Aiming at these problems,this paper explores and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to solve the education of left-behind students in rural middle schools.First,parents should set up the correct view of family education and strengthen the parent-child emotional communication.Secondly,the school should play the position advantage of education,and attaches importance to the ideological and moral character of left-behind students.Third,social sectors will increase the focus on education and strengthen education's social responsibility awareness.Together,we will work together to promote the healthy development of left-behind children in rural primary and secondary schools.
