A Study On The Warning System Of Population Security Of Yunnan Province

Since the SARS epidemic emergency happened in spring of 2003, emergencies and natural disasters often happen to both China and abroad. And people have gradually recognized that population development is not only a simple problem of quantity. But, from the perspective of sustainable development of population, population development concerns a variety of aspects, such as the society, politic, economy, resources and environment. Therefore, our concerns about the population environment should upgrade to a security level, regarding it as the most fundamental security issue in the national security. With the continous in-depth research into the population security by the academic industry, the connotation and extension of population security have been expanded increasingly. In fact, there is a law in the change in population development. If such a law is destroyed, the population will show a characteristic of instability, leading to increase in insecurity factors. As the major factor of the society, the human occupies a dominant position in the subsystem of social economy and resources environment; while as the support system of the population, the economic and social development and resource environment also constraint and limit the development of population. Therefore, if the population has broken through such a constraint and limitation, it will cause deterioration in the external environment of population development, resulting in the risk of insecurity.This article has evaluated the population security conditions from 2000 to 2008 and pre-assessed it in 2020 by using the method of analysis to major elements to establish a population security warning model with regional characteristics under the background of environmental resource conditions and development of economy and society in Yunnan Province based on the research object of population system in Yunnan and the purpose to fully achieve the well-off society and develop a early warning indicator system for population security within Yunnan Province. Overall, there is a rise in the population security status from low safety level in 2000 to a medium security state in 2020. However, from the point of view of internal features, there is a great difference in various factors.
