| Prime Minister Wen mentioned in 2005 that vocational education is the important foundation for national economic and social development and also is one of the crucial strategies of the education.A study told us that whether now or a long years later, the need of vocational graduates is large. Vocational education takes important roles in the transferring rural labor force and improving the quality of the labor and the ability of employment and reemployment. Therefore, developing the vocational education and improving the quality of workforce is the only access to the great process of China.Secondary vocational teachers take up the heavy responsibility in training technical people. Teachers exert direct influence on the students and they determine the development of the students and even the whole educational causes. The occurrence and hindrances of educational problems are related to the existing state of the teachers'occupational predicaments and the solutions to them should be based on the improvement of the teachers'vocational existing conditions. The paper will present the vocational life, in order to improve teachers'living life and help them. The paper applies the main means of interview, supplemented with observing the class and daily life, to gain detailed information, real data, and inventory survey which can present truly teachers'vocational living states. The content of interview is vocational life stage, which contains 6 dimensions: vocational ability, sense of identity, satisfaction of work environments, self efficiency, occupational planning.The research finds out that the vocational living state of vocational teachers shows good places and bad places. The good are improvement in vocational ability, high professional self-identify. The bad are the discontent of working environment,out-work of head teachers, high pressure, the lowness of self-efficacy, lackness of the vocational plan. And by deep-interviewing, there are many limited factors that are the influence of the traditional ideas, the lowness in social position, the badness in organizational atmosphere, and the lackness of the power of vocational development. At last, the author gives improvement ways from teachers, school, society. |
