Cheerleading classes have been opened in major colleges and universities in China. However, for our country starts late on this project, the teaching theory is still a blank. The teaching contents vary a lot among different colleges, universities and some sports academies, and there is hardly any research on professional cheerleading curriculum system which adapts to the physical education of current stage. Therefore, by using various methods, such as literature, expert interviews, questionnaires and mathematical statistics, etc., this thesis elaborates the necessity for cheerleading to access to physical education via analyzing its status quo of development. On this basis, according to the guiding ideology of"The Sports Teaching Curriculum Plan for Undergraduate of the National Universities" and opinions and suggestions of domestic cheerleading experts, the author makes overall construction on cheerleading of physical education from four aspects: specific training objectives, teaching content, hours, appraisal and evaluation. This provides a useful reference for the cheerleading teaching reform of physical education. The main conclusions of the study are:1. The competitions organization system of cheerleading has got a preliminary scale in our country, but the professional talents such as the cheerleading teachers, judges and athletes are in shortage. It is difficult to rely on training by organizations simply to meet the requirements of the society. Thus, it is necessary to list cheerleading into the major courses of physical education.2. The curriculum system takes the"Outline of the Nationwide Body-building Plan","The Sports Teaching Curriculum Plan for Undergraduate of the National Universities", the students'interests, expert advice and social needs as the theoretical basis.3. The goal of the course is to divide the overall goal into five sub-objectives, i.e. physical health, cognitive, emotion, sport skills and social adaptation, and to design them one by one according to every term, explaining different objectives of cheerleading specialty in detail.4. The author designs the teaching content from theory, technology, skills and so forth, selects and optimizes the 80 knowledge points involved, analyzes the importance of the knowledge points one by one as well as making up a content system which is suitable for a special education of cheerleading.5. Cheerleading special hours will be set by three times a week, every 90 minutes (2 hours), 18 weeks per semester and it will be begun from the second or the third semester and be opened for four semesters, which is about 432 hours for better. As analyzed, teaching theories will occupy 20% of the total hours and technical courses 40%, skill courses 30%, examinations 5%, mobility 5%.6.Combined with teaching content, the special teaching evaluation of cheerleading analyses different forms, such as distribution, assessment to each other by students, oral exam, and centralized assessment. This approach receives welcome from specialties and studetns, for it is adapted by the assessment content of self-study and combination of self edition.Considering the personality development of students, this Curriculum system also emphasizes the training of students'innovation ability and teamwork spirit. Under the premise of society's market-oriented need, the system provides a reference for our country's cheerleading course to set up teaching schedule, select the proper teaching material, cultivate professional talents and service the society.
