Vocational Education in our country has been vital to the training of a large number of technology-based and innovative talents, which plays an important role in the education system. With the continuous progress and development of modern information technology, vocational education is actively promoting the education informatization to accomplish the modernization of vocational education. Education informatization brings a good opportunity for the development of Shaanxi vocational education. Shaanxi vocational colleges have achieved a certain degree of success on the research of information technology application in vocational education. However, the backwardness of education theories, the lack of teaching resources and other factors led to the shallowness of the current research in the field. There are plenty of problems and blind spots still existing in the effective ways of applying information technology in teaching.To solve the above problems, this thesis has the following approaches: conducted the research under the background of the current researches on information technology application in Shaanxi Vocational Education, combined qualitative and quantitative research methods, designed questionnaires, selected the research objects, and obtained and analyzed the data to find out the constraints which effect the effective application of information technology in Shaanxi vocational education and to put forward corresponding countermeasures and implementation.The thesis consists of six parts. The first part is an overview of issues and research, including research background, related literature review, proposing the issue, research outline, research methods and research data analysis. The second part is the theoretical basis for the research and definition of key concepts. The main theoretical basis for the thesis research have been introduced, and the key concepts involved have been defined. The third part is the specific research and analysis, including the design of the entire research process and the analysis and processing of data to help derive the factors restricting the application of information technology in Shaanxi vocational Colleges. The fourth part is to enhance the application and implementation in the teaching of information technology in Shaanxi vocational education and to give eight recommendations. The fifth part is the application of case studies, taking Shaanxi College of Communication Technology as an example to introuce and analyze the teaching resources platform applications. The sixth part is the conclusion of the study and reflection, mainly focusing on the summary of findings and conclusion of this study's limitations and some areas for improvement.
