Research On Management System Of Volunteer Project In Large-scale Activities

It is generally accepted that the involvement of volunteers are essential to large-scale activities. Due to the projectization of a large-scale activity, volunteer project can be effectively managed with the methods and techniques of project management, maximizing the special human resources of volunteers, thus ensuring the success of the activity.This dissertation aims to explore the organization and implementation method of volunteer project in large-scale activities by doing investigation and research into the volunteer service of large-scale activities. Moreover, based on the theoretical methods and tools of project management and human resource management, a management system will be tailored for volunteer project in large-scale activities to ensure the scientific management of volunteer's recruiting, training, running, controlling, as well as its incentive and guarantee system.In this dissertation, a research will be conducted on the volunteer project of a sports event-Good Luck Beijing by doing empirical analysis of its volunteer project management and concluding that this volunteer project functions soundly. Meanwhile, by analyzing and summarizing the problems encountered in its operation, several suggestions are put forward for further standardization and improvement of project operation.
