Study On American School Health Education Curriculum In Secondary School

With the development of economy and society, problems of health arise day by day. Health education increasingly enjoys a universal importance, and becomes a key part in the education field. However, when it comes to how to carry out health education effectively, every country is under exploration. The US is the country which developed health education earlier. A hundred years later, School Health Education curriculum was put forward and with the gradual expansion of its content, and it has already draws a lot of attention from educational circle in the US. American school health education provides many helpful experiences for health education reformation in the world from theories to practices. At present, in our country, a reform campaign of basic education is undergoing, which provides a precious chance for the development of school health education.From the perspective of comparative education, I expatiate and analyze American School Health Education curriculum in secondary schools by literature analysis, case analysis, and comparison.
