With the accelerated pace of China's Higher Education, college teaching quality has always been a school, teaching management, teachers and students were generally concerned about the issue. To improve the quality of teaching, we must understand the status of the quality of teaching and to take targeted measures, it is necessary for teachers to evaluate the quality of education, including student evaluation of teachers teaching quality assessment of teaching quality is an important component, but also the process of teaching management a key link in the growing importance attached by the colleges and universities. However, due to a wide range of issues, the current teaching evaluation activities have not been to give full play to improve the quality of teaching and promoting teacher-student communication and development. Therefore, how to scientifically and effectively carry out teaching evaluation activities, it is worth our attention and research.A University Student Ratings of Teaching selected this activity as a case for case studies, by reading a lot of literature, First of all, explained the background to this research question, study the significance of the main concepts and the status of the study abroad; the oretical basis of the research, from hypothesis, research approach, survey, research methods and the validity of the aspects of building research design. Second, by teachers, students and educational administrators in the investigation of, from the teaching evaluation in general understanding, evaluation sheet and related aspects of teaching, teaching evaluation of the results of feedback and uses and effect factors, on the practice and teaching evaluation the problem described and analyzed. Finally, according to survey the problems in practice, put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve teaching evaluation results, including: the establishment of development of teachers concept, highlighting the diagnostic evaluation of excitation function; strengthen publicity and education teaching assessment to enhance student understanding of the teaching assessment; build a scientific and reasonable evaluation index system; optimize teaching evaluation of the organization and implementation; scientific feedback and rational use of teaching evaluation results. In short, the main function of teaching evaluation and improvement of diagnosis, as long as the Student Ratings of Teaching with other teachers combine evaluation system, we can establish a set of positive incentives to effectively promote the teaching of teachers, their enthusiasm, their active participation evaluation, continuous improvement of teaching and promoting professional development of teachers so as to enhance the quality of school teaching and the quality of training of students.
