Research On Family Planning Public Service Of Floating Population In Baoshan District In Shanghai

Shanghai has became one of the most powerful cities in China.Shanghai develops rapidly on economic and social affairs,and attracts more and more Floating Population.As a suburban district of Shanghai, Baoshan District attracts a lot of Floating Population in recent years.A great lot of Floating Population coming into Baoshan District will necessarily give the Family Planning Public Services unprecedented challenges.In this background, it is meaningful to study Family Planning Public Service, discuss status, characters and problems of Family Planning Public Service of Floating Population in Baoshan District and make suggestion.This paper attempts to apply the way of questionnaire to measure overall level of Family Planning Public Service of Floating Population in Baoshan District. I apply GIS technology to study Family Planning Public Service of Floating Population about spatial distribution of public service station. Based on literature search and data analysis,I establish the Floating Population Public Service System and apply index system to practical work in Baoshan District.At the end,I compare Family Planning Public Service of Floating Population between Fengxian District and Baoshan District, and evaluate the level of Family Planning Public Service of Floating Population in Baoshan District.Paper is divided into six parts. Part one introduces main research questions by background and literature review and makes the appropriate interpretation. Part two analyzes the configuration status of Family Planning Public Service of Floating Population in Baoshan District. How is the effects of spatial configuration, Can envisage of Family Planning Public Service of Floating Population be achieved and can Family Planning Public Service of Floating Population meet the aspirations of Floating Population? To explain the above problems, based on much data collection and analysis Part three analyzes the effect of Family Planning Public Service of Floating Population and the reasons through questionnaire. Questionnaire analysis is a subjective evaluation method. In order to assess overall level of Family Planning Public Service of Floating Population in Baoshan District more objectively and comprehensively, Part four constructs Floating Population Public Service System and assesses Floating Population Public Service objectively and comprehensively through this system. The fifth part generalizes problems in Public Services in Baoshan District and leads to related thinking by summarizing the analysis. The six part Summarizes main ideas of paper and points out the inadequacies.The important findings:the spatial distribution of Family Planning Public Service Station is according to the number of Resident Population,and this may have greater difference from the spatial distribution of Floating Population.But the fact is that the proportion of spatial distribution of the number of Floating Population is same to Resident Population.So it does not cause dismatching situation between spatial distribution of Floating Population and distribution of Family Planning Public Service Stations.Administrative area of the streets in Southeast of Baoshan District is small and in Northwest of Baoshan District is large,so in space it forms agglomeration effect of Family Planning Service Stations in Southeast of Baoshan District.It causes full coverage in Southeast,and idle in Northwest. But there are more Family Planning Guide Room in Northwest,so it does not result in imbalance of Family Planning Public Services of Floating Population.The overall level of Family Planning Public Services of Floating Population in Baoshan District is higher, but there are some differences from Fengxian District. The reason is that it too much emphases on infrastructure building and advocacy, and neglects to enrich and deepen content of Public Service.
