College Ideological And Political Education Of Poor Students

Along with the development and perfect of China's reform of socialist market economic system, reform of higher education system reform, unbalanced economic development, regional differences and other reasons, the number of poor students in college has greatly increased. Poor students have become a special group on campus. Caring, protecting, helping and guiding them to develop in a healthy and integrated way have become the focus of community.Communist Party of China and the government attach great importance to poor students in colleges and give them great support and help economically. However, there are many poor students in college who do not only face with economic deprivation, but also have plenty of problems in their learning, living and the process of growing up which shouldn't be ignored. So, studying the reasons for the formation of this special group, analyzing those main problems owned by poor students and finding new ways and measures of ideological and political education for these poor students have important practical significances for strengthening and improving ideological and political education in a new period.This thesis firstly gives a brief statement of current poor students in college, and then analyzes reasons for their poor financial condition and spiritual barrenness from these aspects:national policy, law of market economy, accident cases, social factors, school factors, family factors, personal factors and so on. Finally, this thesis takes facts existing in college into account and puts forward some new ways and measures for enhancing ideological and political education of poor students in college.
