The Present Situation Of The Badminton Curriculum In The Senior High School Of Dezhou And The Countermeasures

In the country, the badminton sport plays an important role in the competitive sports, which in also the main part of the national body-building project. Playing Badminton frequently has many advantages, such as promoting the function of heart and lung, strengthening our bodies, improving the relicience, etc. In recent years, with the living standard increasing. citizens have become more aware of the importance of body-building, colourful entertainments and improvement of living quality, making badminton widely accepted. badminton has gone into PE as a main part because of the popularity of the sport.In this paper, a deep analysis is made on the present situation of badminton in the 13 key middle schools of dezhou , which includes sports facilities , teachers , the curriculum, class teaching and after-class activities, by using the research methods documents and data, investigation and survey, mathematical statistics.The following are the results :1 The percentage of badminton is low against the Senior High School sports.2 The school authorities do not pay enough attention to the curriculum, causing the facilities are in poor condition.3 There are not enough professional teachers , which limit the development of badminton sports .4 As for the students, they have a good knowledge of badminton and show much interest in it. But they are poor in basic skills and the theory. also the learning motivation is accordingly .5 The teaching system at different levels needs to be improved, which is true of the content of the textbook and the teaching methods .6 The unitary of after-class activities limit the development of badminton.According to the results above,some analysis has been made, here are some counter measures .1 Investment for the facilities should be enlarged .2 The school authorities should pay more attention to the sport. Deepen the reform of PE curriculum and strengthen the sound and comprehensive growth of the badminton sport .3 Strengthen the teacher team.4 Guide the students properly according to their interests.5 Put the growth of students on the first position and reunite the teaching content and teaching methods.6 Make badminton integrative both in class and after class .
