The Research Of Learning Activity Management System In Web-based Course

Web-based course is an important support for distance education. At present, a lot of Web-based course is centered on resources, not centered on activities. Studies show that the resources-centered Web-based course has many forms of resources, but it lacks the design and organization for learning activity, and makes the learners get lost in the ocean of internet, and can not reach the intended learning objectives. Therefore, the research of learning activity management system in Web-based course, especially its management process and its system design methods, has the important theoretical significance and practical application value.Using a number of research methods, including literature analysis methods, system science methods, instructional design methods, object-oriented design methods, the paper has done some research work in the following four aspects.(1) The research base of the learning activity management system in Web-based course. Analyze many basic concepts, and summarize the theoretical basis for system research on the basis of analyzing the relevant cases.(2) The management process of learning activity management in Web-based course. The paper constructs the learning activity management process framework in Web-based course, based on PDCA management model, under the guidance of activity theory and instructional design theory centered learning activity, and further refines the all stages in the learning activity management.(3) The design of learning activity management system in Web-based course. It is elaborated from instructional design and software design. The instructional design mainly divided form activity task, process, resource and evaluation. The system's software design is used in requirement analysis, requirement modeling, architecture design, detailed design and realization design.(4) The development of application instances. Under the guide of the system design method summarized in the paper, develops the learning activity management system in Web-based course, and is applied to"Asp.Net built-in objects".After a series of research work, the paper makes some research results.(1) Define some concepts about learning activity management in Web-based course, and determine the theoretical basis including activity theory, PDCA thinking, instructional design theory, learning design theory, outcomes-based instructional thinking, etc.(2) Construct the learning activity management process framework in Web-based course, referring to PDCA model, combining with the requirements in learning activity management.(3) Obtain the system design model by combining instructional design with software design. The system is divided into plan subsystem, implementation subsystem, evaluation subsystem, optimization subsystem and system management subsystem. From the functional requirement, model abstraction and view, build the corresponding design model in order to the system development.(4) An instance of the system is developed, in which the learning activity management process framework and the system design method are applied, to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the management process and the system design method.The innovations of this paper are as follows:(1) Introduce PDCA thinking, and then come up with a set of reasonable learning activity management model in Web-based course.(2) Build the system design model by combining instructional design with software design.(3) Combine the management process, instructional design and functional design into the system research, to a certain extent, compensate for deficiencies in the learning management system: can't properly reflect the function due to ignore the management process, or cause the learning system lose instructional due to ignore instructional design, or can't meet users'needs due to be short of functional design.The future research work is mainly to improve the management process of learning activity in Web-based course, and explore the more scientific and efficient system design method.
