After entering the 21st century, the rural China's ethnic minorities had to be modernized in economic, political, cultural and social. One remarkable phenomenon in this process is that many rural ethnic minorities' organizations has been differentiated and reorganized. Some of them are established by the government' advices and promoted to be political organizations, some are purely the outcomes of grassroots effort, and the others are more or less like what they used to. Hong village, where I chose to begin my research was a typical place for Self-organizations to active in ethnic minority communities. I will show my research to you by six parts:First is the preface, I descriptive the background of my study and the methods I used in it. On the basis of the literatures home and abroad about rural communities and its organizations, I also limited the fields and its application scopes when I use the conception of "self-organizations". Second , I compared the different statues and development of self-organizations in rural China, and I proposed the four characters in rural ethnic minorities organizations, they are "tie to history closely; self-behavior and function diversity; relatively autonomy, and team of elites". Third, 1 analyzed the "self-organizations" in rural ethnic minority communities and the history and subjective reasons that caused them to re-alive. In the fourth part, I took the 4 different self-organizations" function in Hong village as examples, in my opinion they play important roles in the community* public management , its construction, and the good community order's maintenance. Gradually they become one of the new providers besides the township government, the villagers committee to offer public goods and service. On the fifth parts, I pointed out challenges those self organizations met, and made a prophecy of their future. Finally, I discovered my conclusions: The practice of self-organizations in Hong village is a preliminary try by the native scholar of Yunnan University under the guidance of the new functional theories; the theory is a effective tool to implement the scholar's activity, because it contains guidelines, practices and empathy. What's more, the Hong village model is a successful example of the inner develops. It is a helpful practice to support the weak ethnic minority communities to construction the new countryside, while protect the whole culture, its' particularity and creativeness. In my point of view, to foster the rural ethnic' self-organization is helps to develop the local's modernization consciousness. The late rural ethnic communities have learnt lessons from Hong village and seize the essence of its rural construction experience; they have proved to us by their action that through the development of the self-organization methods to promote the all-round construction of community is a feasible and effective way.
