During the selection of China's most well-being cities,Chengdu and Hangzhou are both selected for these two cities are known for leisurement.These two cities are located in the plain with mild climate which is suitable for sports games.Tennis in Chengdu and Hangzhou have good mass base.the establishment of many large tennis clubs in Chengdu and Hangzhou in recent years,helped promote the development of tennis in these two cities while these clubs also face lots of problems.In this article,I focus on the study on managers,coaches,salesmen and consumers of some large tennis clubs in Chengdu and Hangzhou,by using methods such as questionnaires,expert interviews,literature,field visits.During the study,I point out some problems and shortcomings in the development of these clubs,and proposed some solutions.The results of my study show there basically 5 characteristics in the operation of these clubs:1. Large tennis clubs in Chengdu and Hangzhou can be divided into two kinds of club:Teaching-oriented and Activities-oriented.Both these kinds of clubs are usually located in the downtown where the transportation is convenient and the population is dense.These clubs are mainly single stores,and business hours can be divided into gold and non-prime time. 2. The managers of these clubs always have higher education experience.But they are seldom expert in both tennis and business operation,while they also lack in the vision of development.3. Club coaches generally have a relatively higher education experience,mainly composed by physical education graduates and retired athletes with more men than women.Most of them are young and short practitioners.Most coaches have low pay satisfaction. Recognition for the club's rules and regulations are not enough.The main limitation of engaging in this profession is there major(most of them major in tennis).4. The age structure of the sales and service personnel is more reasonable,but their education level is not high.They also have low pay satisfaction.And they are not been seriously treated by the Club managers.5. The consumers of these club are mainly highly educatied people with high income. The main purpose of participation in tennis is to become healthy, raise the level of tennis and establish relationship.When choosing the club,they will focus on the coach level,atmosphere and service.I proposed the following measurements in the article:1. Build corporate culture2. Build core competence3. Improve the quality of managers4. Maintain the stability of coaches5. Shaping the value chain of the sales team6. Enhance the internal communication of the club7. Breeding consumer awareness8. Promote the information symmetry of production and supply...
