The painting of children and language are both symbols,which is used by children to deliver their mind and exchange ideas.It is the main tool, which paves the road for children to the world of symbols.Children use painting to express their mind most during the period from kindergarten to early grades in elementary school. In this period, children talk with themselves and use it to deliver their mind unconsciously. This is a vital moment for children to upgrade their writing and oral expressing abilities comprehensively through language learning and systematic training of listening, reading, writing and speaking when they are entering elementary school.If we could make full use of painting expressing of children, bridge language and painting when children learning language in the early grades in elementary school, it is likely that we could help children get to like expressing themselves and develop their painting and language abilities together harmoniously, which finally leads to a comprehensive development of language ability.After reading a great amount of data, the first begins with a research of children painting, shows that the essential quality of children painting is to satisfy the need of exchange and express the mind of painter. It demonstrates the lovely heart of children and that children's mind is the purest one in the world. Children draw their mind with their pens.Then, it continues to argue that children's painting has peculiar value for children to understand the world and themselves,express their mind and comfort themselves,develop the ability to appreciate and create,as well as cultivate language ability and inspire imagination.The second chapter children painting and language learning have close relationship with the mental development of children in every stage.After research and analysis,we state the inner logic relation between painting and language expressing of children in early grades of elementary school and demonstrate the differences and connections of them.On the base of deeper understanding of these two,we argue that there are advantages of learning from each other in aspect of expressing.Chapter three continues to argue that we should think from the view of children,respect the freedom for children to express themselves,and learn from the peculiar feature of children painting which express the painter creatively and truly. We should respect the expressing habits and the way to use language of children, and care about their spiritual freedom and living state.We could make full use of painting, which is loved by children,to motivate them to express themselves through drawing pictures.It also discussed in the teaching practice,we should make a"Tuyu" coordinated development of the physical environment of speech and the spirit of the environment for students;combine the imagination, loved painting paintings,Proposition painting, sketch drawing and other art cases,the corresponding language policy.The last chapter concluded that this research project is close to real study situation.It aims to enable students to write more easily, express things happily, provide favorable conditions for independent and broad space, reduce the bound of language to students.That is meaningful for encouraging children to express things freely and creatively.
