Music education is the key-link of aesthetic education, while increasing music appreciation ability is the foundation for entering music palace. As "the core of music aesthetics" becomes the basis in the music education of ordinary junior middle it is of valuable in theory and as well as in practice to investigate "music appreciation".On the theoretical basis of musical esthetical psychology, educational psychology, and psychology of musical education, this paper explores the students' aesthetic psychology in music appreciation teaching of junior high schools in theory and practice aspects. By analyzing the characteristics of mentality, such as youngsters' cognitive psychology, individual mind, and so forth, this article have studied the aesthetic psychology of junior high school students in junior secondary music courses on purpose of attracting junior students for music lecturing. With respect to this current situation that students are not willing to attend music class, a series of careful investigating works including collect and collate document papers and literature, a directed monitoring at the music appreciation teaching, carrying out questionnaire survey, and interview etc have been done. Aiming discovering and fostering the gateway of junior students' music aesthetics capability, this thesis was completed by means of a series of description, analysis and comparison.This paper is divided into three chapters, the preface and appendix, five parts totally: The first part is the introduction, which describes the role, status of music class in junior high school and the background of this thesis. The research progress, development, theoretical and practical significance are discussed in this part as well.Chapter one:It revealed the significance of the training of music appreciation ability for the junior students, and provides the method of solution by means of comprehension of musical teaching in junior secondary compulsory education, especially the core ideology of music appreciation teaching. Meanwhile, this chapter had dig down deeper into a list of relevant issues about music appreciation teaching and aesthetic psychology, and expounded the practical significance of researching musical aesthetic psychology to music esthetical education.Chapter two:To analyze the characteristics of junior students' music aesthetics, this part analyzed the following main aspects:attention, imagination, comprehension and emotion, and individual mind of junior students'musical aesthetics. This part also finds out the influence factors of junior students'aesthetic psychology, including these elements:physical condition, characteristics of mentality, living condition, and social context.Chapter three:Training acoustic perception, unearthing emotional experience, stimulating imagination and association, nurturing comprehension and cognition, those four aspects were researched in this section during the music appreciation activities. It investigated on the development of junior students'music aesthetic psychology in the process of practical music appreciation teaching.
