The sense of civic responsibilities is a basic criterion,which future society demands for talents.And it is the foundation of a healthy personality.The sense of junior students'civic responsibilities is the ideas,emotions and wishes that they control their self-behavior and result on the basis of understanding their roles and social demands,in order to conform to social demands. Specifically,it includes self-responsibility,public responsibility and the world's feelings.The cultivation of sense of junior civic responsibilities,is the realistic need of building a socialistic harmonious society, objective need of practising quality education and self-need of their own healthy growth.It reaches a conclusion that junior students as a whole are gradually forming and developing sense of civic responsibilities,but far cry from the level which society and school expect from the survey and systemic analysis of the level and character of the sense of junior students'civic responsibilities in city middle school,urban and rural middle school and rural middle school.In age's comparision,the overall level of sense of junior students'civic responsibilities shows the trend of firstly dropping and later rising from Grade Seven to Grade Nine;In gender's comparision,the sense of civic indentity of girls is generally higher than boys;In position's comparision,the civic responsibility awareness of Student Leaders is significantly higher than the general student.Specifically speaking,some common problems exist among these three schools:quite a number of students are passive and utilitarian in the choice of learning motivation;quite a number of students have not yet acquired good habits of learning;quite a number of students lack of awareness of tolerance;quite a number of students have contradiction between self-wish and self-practice in the choice of helping others and keeping justice,and so on.However,there are also obvious differences of level of civic responsibility awareness among the three levels of schools.Especially, urban and rural middle school is the focus of strengthening the sense of civic responsibilities. This paper argues that the level of junior students'sense of civic responsibilities is influenced by the social multiple values,popular culture,"The Only Scores" environment,teachers,parenting styles,self-awareness,peer and other factors.Among these factors,family and school education play a key role.Based on the above analysis,this paper have made a positive solving way,that the school is the key to strengthen the sense of junior students' civic responsibilities,and family education is an indispensable part, and schools and families should strengthen communication in order to reduce and prevent "mismatch" phenomenon between schools and families.
