Information Behavior Research Of Graduate Students For A Master's Degree In Kunming Area

The information behaviors of graduate students for a Master's degree could be a significant infection for graduate students in their study, work, lives and future sustainable development after obtained employment. This research directed at the kunming area studying for graduate students'information behaviors in actual investigation, theoretical analysis and empirical research. It is propitious to predominate the characteristic, orderliness and influencing facters about information behaviors of graduate students. It is beneficial to conduct their own information and information service institutions, especially university libraries, and to help adjust the information service strategy. This paper includes three parts separating seven chapters.Part I:Chapter 1 is about the background, the purpose of the article and the content of this research. Chapter 2 introduces the interrelated concept of information behavior, and clears up the theories about information requirements, information consciousness, information literacy, the rule of information psychology and behavior, human information coordi-nating behavior, the types of information behavior, and concludes the refer problems of this research about graduate students.Part II:Chapter 3 anlyses the graduate students studying for a Master degree in Kunming area getting across the dissemination of the questionnaires. This six universities contents YunNan University, KunMing science and engineering University, YunNan normal University, YunNan ethnologic University, YunNan agricultural University and YunNan medicinal University.Chapter 4 summarizes the characteristics of the information behaviors about the graduate students studying for a Master degree in Kunming area and dissertates the influences about their behaviors for positive and negative coinsides.Chapter 5 sums up three factors including exterior, interior and information literacy which affect the information behaviors about graduate students in Kunming area.Part III:Chapter 6 suggests basal consideration adjust to the graduate students'information behaviors in Kunming area.Chapter 7 brings forward practice measures from four aspects about graduate students themselves and exterior environment.Epilogue points out the tendency of information behavior study and indicates shortages in my research.
