In modern Chinese vocabulary system, modal compared with other parts of vocabulary, Although modal has small quantities, but because of its flexible, the scope of the expression is rich,it becomes a weak point in TCFL.This article take ma le ne de ba a ya la ma ba bai me into research,these12modal all come from New Practical Chinese Reader wrote by Liu Xun and Boya Chinese wrote by Li XiaoQi. Based on that,through questionnaires.we study the Modal Acquisition of students and the Modal teaching situation.and summed up some issues in TCFL. then raised some suggestions.This article is divided into three parts:introduction, body and conclusion. Which body part is divided into four chapters.The first part is introduction,describes the topic reason, analysis the relationship between modal and modern Chinese, Chinese international education, modal and modal teaching.And described the framework of this article, review relevant research Modal, based on previous studies, the object of this study will be explained.The second part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter from the textbook perspective, combined with the current common syllabus and the New Practical Chinese Reader, Boya Chinese, analysis the teaching of modal particles ma le ne de ba a ya la ma ba bai me.The second and the third chapter through questionnaires, we study Modal Acquisition of overseas students and the teachers’ teaching. The second chapter.According to the collected corpus,we analyzed the type of errors in the use and acquisition sequence:ma>le>a>ne>ba>ya>bale>bai>me.the third chapter, through questionnaires,we analysis the characteristic of the teachers’teaching:Although they considered modal is important, but due to the limit of textbooks, lesson type and level of student, the initiative teaching is littler,the passive teaching is more.the fourth chapter,through the analysis of the three chapters.from the text, language points, exercises three angles,points the teaching suggestions.combined my own experience.proposed teaching strategies from primary, middle and senior two angles.The conclusion Part summed up the whole article. And it also point some deficiency of the article.
