With the rapid growth and development of the education of Chinese as a foreign language in recent decades,many textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language have continued to emerge.Among them,the Boya Chinese textbooks as a series of excellent textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language in the new century,have been recognized by experts,scholars and learners along the way.As a subtype of adverbs,modal adverbs not only represent the modality and mode of action behaviors,but also usually represent the subjective attitude and viewpoint of the speaker when speaking.There are still many differences in scope,function and meaning.This has increased the difficulty in teaching modal adverbs to foreign Chinese teachers and the learning difficulties of second language learners.The intermediate stage is a critical period for learners to transition from elementary to advanced,and it is about the success of Chinese learning.This article takes the modal adverbs in Boya Chinese as the main research object,and puts forward some teaching strategies of modal adverbs in Chinese as a foreign language.It is hoped that there can be some reference in the teaching of modal adverbs.This thesis consists of five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.It explains the reasons for choosing the topic,the research purpose and methods,and the review of the study of modal adverbs and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The article analyzes the situation and appearance of modal adverbs in Chapter II,with a view to improving it in teaching design.Chapter III first analyzes the learners' habits through a questionnaire test on the effects of modal adverb acquisition on the teaching objects.The results are achieved through instructional design and teaching practice,and the acquisition effect is expected to be further improved.Finally,the learner's acquisition effect is investigated again through an oral questionnaire test.Comprehensive learner interview suggestions are proposed for the fourth chapter on modal adverbs teaching.Chapter 4 is the teaching strategy part,which mainly proposes corresponding teaching strategies based on some situations that appear in the teaching materials in Chapter 2 and problems that appear in the teaching objects in Chapter 3.Chapter 5 is the conclusion,which explains the conclusions and deficiencies of the thesis.Finally,the author puts forward the following three teaching strategies for the teaching of Chinese Modal Adverbs as a foreign language: first,in the selection and teaching of modal adverbs,teachers should adjust the teaching sequence reasonably based on the content of the teaching materials and the use frequency of modal adverbs,and appropriately add the meaning that modal Adverbs do not appear in the teaching materials to the teaching process;second,in the teaching of modal adverbs In terms of the repetition and teaching of words,teachers should pay attention to the timely repetition of modal adverbs and increase the repetition times of modal adverbs;thirdly,in the aspect of the discrimination and teaching of modal adverbs,teachers should try their best to explain every word in detail to avoid errors.
