Foreigners,working and living in Suzhou,have to learn Chinese language as well as they can.This need not only promotes the development of Chinese language teaching market,but also urges Chinese language teachers to contribute to explore better Chinese teaching methods.In the same time,the need increases new ideas of compiling Chinese language textbooks.Basing on a series of analysis of Chinese language learners,the writer select Suzhou television program as audio-visual materials to write a new textbook.Following the basic principles and taking the particular need into account,the use of local television program for living Chinese teaching turned out to be a success,for it has irreplaceable feasibility and advantages.
