| During the process of teaching Chinese as foreign language,different kinds of errors often occurs on foreign students.Some of them are on writing aspect,some are on phonetic spelling aspect,and some are on grammatical sentences aspect,while we found that Chinese verb teaching is a big difficulty, among them, the monosyllabic verbs and double syllable verbs which are developed from the monosyllabic verbs,these two kinds of verbs, in terms of quantity, their proportion in the modern Chinese vocabulary is very high, in terms of usage, their use frequency and error frequency are very high too, and there are also verious kinds of meanings and usages of single and double syllable verbs, in many cases they cannot be confused;Some verbs can’t take an object behind them, some can take an object, and those objects have the difference of abstract and specific,the difference of characteristic,etc., these problems has made a lot of obstacles for students learning Chinese, therefore, this article is intended to do a tentative research on the monosyllabic verbs and double syllable verbs which are developed from the monosyllabic verbs.The main research content of this article is divided into six chapters. First chapter is introduction, mainly introduces the purpose and significance of this article, and domestic and foreign research dynamic on this problem. The second chapter, give classification of all double syllable verbs which share the same morpheme.Corpus sources mainly refer to "the word frequency,homoatomic and synonymous association studies ",written by Zhang ping and Sang Congcong (2011),"modern Chinese dictionary"(fifth edition) and "reverse verbs dictionary". The third chapter,give analysis of single and double syllable verbs with homoatomic and synonymous from several aspects.The form Chapter, give comparative analysis of single and double syllable verbs which are homoatomic and not synonymous, moreover, this article will analyse the transferred referent within the scope of corpus,find the rule in it, and make tentative analysis of the phenomenon of multi-category words.The fifth Chapter, combined with the research questions of this article,talk about the aspect of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, through the analysis of students’ errors, take the study of this paper into application of the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
