The monosyllabic nouns and disyllabic nouns with the same morphemes arerelatively special in the species of synonyms.Their similarities and differences involvein aspects of phonetics,vocabulary and grammar.This thesis takes symonymlymonosyllable and disyllable nouns in“Chinese Proficiency Outline Graded Words andCharacters (as amended)”as objects,in reference to the former scholars’ research onmonosyllable and disyllable adjectives,verbs, and adverbs,etc. and we inspect kinds oferror of foreign students to use these synonyms from HSK Dynamic compositioncorpus.Try to look for reasons that lead to error.Based on the vision of Teaching ofChinese as a second language,try to explore some effective teaching methods.This article is divided into five parts.Chapter1: Introduction.This part introduces the reason in writing,the object ofresearch and the scope of research, distinguishing on concept of synonyms,overviewon status of studying monosyllable and disyllable nouns,Interpret research objectivesand significance,and source of corpus.Chapte2: According to meaning in “Morden Chinese Dictionary (fifth edition),the monosyllabic nouns and disyllabic nouns with the same morphemes in the formand meaning will be divided into different categories.Chapter3: This part is mainly to put253groups of nouns into groups accordingto from correspongding in detail. We inspect kinds of error of foreign students to usethese synonyms from HSK Dynamic composition corpus and try to look for reasonsthat lead to error.Chapter4: We adopt noun questionaries to investigate the error of monosyllabicnouns and disyllabic nouns with the same morphemes.Chapter5: In this part we discuss teaching issues.Methods and strategies are usedfor reference in Teaching Chinese as a second language.
