A Study On The Development Of Local Public Service Function

Local history, as the important tradition of Chinese national culture, is one of the significant carriers of social and concept of value. The existence, last meaning and mechanism of it, is also the indispensable part of Chinese national culture. In more than two thousand years of compilatory history, a huge achievement group of local history comes into being in China, which produces a marked effect and makes important contribution in the process of serving the development of society and economy. But considering from the quantity and development of local history, some problems are also existing. So, how to deal with these problem, how to change the achievement group effectively into which can promote the development of society and economy, which can serve the people, is the most important task with real meaning. This thesis aims directly at the public cultural service function of local history and discusses from four aspects. The thesis begins with analyzing the public cultural service function, summarizing the effect of present local history, pointing out the deficiency and reasons. In the last, this thesis integrates working reality and poses some advanced strategies, including setting up the quality manageable system of local history; strengthening the policy security of public service; promoting the public service with the help of society, government, local history organization and workers; reforming the spreading ways and methods; developing the special products; building up the brand image; enhancing the construct of local history buildings; consummating the public cultural network platform; thinking highly of the requirement of main stream group, increasing the promotion of local history development, forming a kind of mode which serves by volunteers step by step; advocating the participation of the common people.
