Touch is a major means of visually impaired people perceive things formthe space. Because of the lack of visual, to learn cultural knowledgemainly through touch, and the cognitive environment and object of life,space experience and perception nature is physically touch is needed tocomplete. This awareness is individual true feelings, when they use thiskind of feeling to the sculpture creation, their works highlighting themore pure, in the form of sculpture language.Touch is the fundamental element of the sculpture is created, if to applydirect and tactile feeling of pure sculpture creation, more can highlightthe nature of sculpture language. Artists of space shape, the texture ofsculpture materials, form and dimension of feelings, only by vision isfar cannot satisfy the needs of creation, must through the participationof tactile sensation, can more effectively to the sculpture creation.Vision can make up the lack of the sense of touch, but also in some casesmake the observer misreading and illusion. Feel the form of an entityobject space, tactile feeling is more direct and accurate than vision.In the sculpture is created, fully respect the tactile feel directly isthe basic requirement of the sculpture is created, then with the help ofabundant visual experience to look at work, combined with the advantagesof both, long avoid short, works will be more pure and perfect.This article through to visually impaired people to visit and talk, andcareful observation of their lifestyle and other related information,combines them when creating sculptures perception of space form andexpression, to explore how to perceive in the way to the blind, and finda new space for sculpture form creation concept and method, and apply itto the sculpture creation.
