With the rapid development of society, people’s views on marriage has changeddramatically, which led to the divorce rate continued to rise in recent years, increasingnumber of divorced families, so that more and more children grow up in a divorcedfamily. The highest proportion in the total number of children from divorced familiesis the primary and secondary students. When faced with a divorce, because socialfactors such as the pressure of public opinion, so that they can not correctly look atparents’ divorce, gradually formed the unreasonable way of thinking, feelingabandoned by society, family, nobody loves them, and on the psychological andemotional is not satisfied with the understanding, cause them to experience the highloneliness. In recent years, the domestic study of loneliness also developed rapidly,but the main is the questionnaire survey and data collection, intervention study is less,especially the study of this special group divorced family junior middle schoolstudents is less.Therefore, this research adopts the reasonable mood therapy, junior middleschool students are mainly by changing the separated families in the face of hisparents divorced when the irrational beliefs and thoughts, establish rational way ofthinking, to adjust their bad mood and behavior, thus can effectively ease theloneliness of divorced family junior middle school students, better to applyreasonable mood therapy in mental health counseling and education to the school.Matching set of design, this study used in the research process of theexperimental group and control group and a control group of loneliness scale beforeand after the test scores are analyzed, and the combination of reasonable moodtherapy process description and analysis, to explore reasonable mood therapy toalleviate divorce loneliness intervention effect in junior high school students.In this paper, investigation and intervention to draw the following conclusions:1.Compared to the variables of junior high school students in gender, grade,only–child and so on,the results show the level of loneliness was no significantdifference in gender, only–child and the location of the family, but in the variables of grades and academic performance, loneliness was significantly different.2. On the degree of loneliness, the divorced families higher than non-divorcedfamilies in the junior high school students, and the difference is very significant.3. After the two-month intervention, the improvement of loneliness in theexperimental group is very significant, the post-test score was significantly lowerthan the pre-test score in the experimental group.4. Compared the UCLA Scale score with before the experiment, the score ofthe control group decreased to some extent, however, compared with before theexperiment, the difference is not significant.5. The level of loneliness of the experimental group decreased significantlyafter two months of intervention, the level of loneliness is extremely significantdifference compared with the control group, but no significant differences with thereference group.6. Using rational emotive therapy to intervention the junior students who havehigh sense of loneliness from divorced families, can help them reduce the feeling ofloneliness, so suggesting that this therapy is effective.
