Existentialism is one of the main schools of contemporary western philosophy. There are two famous philosophers in this Existentialism: Martin Heidegger and JeanPaul Sartre. In this thesis, I was compared and analyzed the ideology of the twophilosophers, Heidegger and Sartre, referred to the books "Sein und zeit" and "Beingand Nothingness".The first chapter I described the structure of Heidegger’s theory of dasein.Heidegger used the word dasein to replace the word sein. Dasein In-der-Welt-sein,through the zuhanden things to zeigen der Andere, and finally dasein erschlossenheititself. Dasein used besorge and sorge living and entwerfen its zukunft. The others, just living a day after a day, verfallen In-Sein. Death is a certain thing that willdeprive our life. So when I realizes someday I will died, then I become dasein andangst death. In this angst, I sein zum tode and find my limit. So the death gives mefree. In the zeit, vergangenheit affect the life I living now, and the zukunft decide menow. The second chapter continued to interpret the Sartre’s theory of liberté. Sartrethough that we should be started at cogito préréflesxif if we discuss Being. Sartredivide being into être-en soi and être-pour-soi. In the book "Being and Nothingness",être-en soi is what it is and être-pour-soi is what it isn’t. être-pour-soi is alwaysthought the négation to choose itself. So the être-pour-soi can become anybody if itwants. The aggregate of these négation is néant. As a néant, être-pour-soi must takethe responsabiliété for the unmodifiable passé and determines the future. In this world,I find there is another one in my world when my body was regarding by the others. This one also has a same être-pour-soi. The confliction must be arising in these twoêtre-pour-soi. My situation cannot limit my être-pour-soi because situation own to myêtre-en soi. And the decided was chosen from the situation is reflected my liberté inmy être-pour-soi. The liberté is être-pour-soi. The liberté is me. In the third chapter, in the first place I compared the same concept, like Being, time, death, the other one and so on. Even the two philosophers have the same startedto discuss the being, but there is a very big deferent in their conclusions. In the viewof time, Heidegger agreed with fatalism while Sartre agreed with the opinion that allthe people are liberty. When talk about death, Heidegger considered the liberty wastaken by the death while Sartre was deemed to the liberty is always belong to us. Asfor another person, Heidegge regard me as a part of another one while Sartrecompletely denies it. As an inheritor, Sartre has a greatly enriched the theory ofexistentialism. It’s a contribution to philosophy. In the second section, I expoundedthe opinions of Existentialism’s human. An eigentlich dasein must be a lonely person. Themitsein can only be used in the verfallen’s dasein. And then I disprove some views aboutthe death’s conclusion frome Sartre’s ontology. In my opinion, death is a reasonableexists and it does limit our liberty être-pour-soi. Sartre’s être-pour-soi must alwayschoose a possibility until we died. So the être-pour-soi cannot decide itself. But in thereal world être-pour-soi can choose the final être-pour-soi. So this is an absent inSartre’s ontological.
