The report explores the strategies of English-Chinese translation of applied linguistics teaching materials, according to the translation of Curriculum Development in Language Teaching(Chapter 6). Chapter 6 in the textbook elaborates on course planning and syllabus design, and provides plenty of teaching application instances to help readers understand the procedures of course planning and teaching approaches.There is no Chinese version of this textbook. Through the translation of Chapter 6 in this textbook, the author hopes to provide reference for the study of translation related to applied linguistics teaching materials, while simultaneously giving some references to our language teachers, teaching administrators, and educational researchers. It is not difficult to recognize that the translation of applied linguistics textbooks has unique theoretical values and practical significance.
