Teaching material is one of the three elements in teaching activities.A good teaching material connects students and teachers and plays an important role in teaching activities.It is not only the embodiment of the teaching syllabus,but also the main basis for teachers and students to learn,which supports the whole teaching process.With the continuous improvement of China's international status and the growing influence of great powers,the number of Chinese learners from overseas has increased dramatically.However,Chinese as a foreign language teaching materials have a strong contemporaneity,which can not meet the needs of the majority of learners,especially in the intermediate stage of Chinese teaching materials.Both "Climbing" and "Bridge" are intermediate Chinese comprehensive textbooks,which are widely used in China in recent years.Therefore,what are the differences and similarities between the two textbooks in various aspects and what are the characteristics of their compilation? This is a representative topic in the comparison of Chinese textbooks.At present,there is a limited amount of materials for the study of "Climbing" and "Bridge".The author hopes to make a comprehensive comparison between the two textbooks in terms of their compilation concepts and styles,as well as text,vocabulary,grammar and practice,so as to find out the Compilation Characteristics of these two textbooks,and put forward relevant suggestions for use,so as to provide reference and suggestions for improving the intermediate Comprehensive Chinese Textbooks suggestions.The author's research can be divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction.In this part,the author introduces the reasons why I decide to choose the topic,the purpose and significance of the study,the research object,methods and the current and latest situation of the research;the second part is to compare the compilation concept and style of the two textbooks;the third part is to make a detailed statistical and comparative analysis of the two textbooks from the four aspects of text,vocabulary,grammar and exercises,The fourth part is based on the comparative analysis of each part of the two textbooks,analyzes the characteristics of the two textbooks,and puts forward targeted suggestions for the use of the textbooks;the fifth part is a summary of the research results and research value of this paper.
