According to the stipulation of "the teaching syllabus for Yi language", Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan province, Yi materials compiling room has completed five local primary and secondary language teaching materials compiled Yi work since 1984,which played an important role for the development of basic education and cultural heritage Yiin Liangshan region. As a representative of the local curriculum, Local language materials in Liangshan Yi in Liangshan region, with the main content of education in the school of Yi and cultural knowledge, build a bridge in the school activity. In the classroom teaching activities, local materials reflect national training target, meet the local and actual needs of students and has benefit for passing on knowledge and educating the individual. Unfortunately, the local materials in the development of our country remain very weak, and the number of academic materials in the study of translation is relatively small. In this paper, taking a class of self Liangshan model high school "language (Yi Edition)" teaching as a case, under the guidance of Banc's Multicultural Curriculum, the author, using literature, investigation methods, analyze and discuss language teaching materials compilation situation, problems and causes in ethnic minority areas and how to promote the development of minority areas local materials. Through a textual analysis of the materials, the study found that Liangshan County paid great emphasis on the Yi culture in the course of compiling Liangshan Yi language teaching materials, but neglected of other options and ignored the actual needs of teaching. The representatives are as follows:The contents of textbooks compiled laid a great attention on Yi culture;however, there is too few choices in knowledge of other national culture; The proportion of contemporary works fine Yi is too large, which is separated from the teaching practice; The request of materials for reflecting the educational and political ideas has limited the choice of compiling the content; The range of options is rather narrow with single content and lack of Science works; There are only teaching materials in compiled teaching materials but no teaching-assisted materials; The form of poetry is extensively used in teaching materials rather than other expressions.The reason for the above problems lies in the lack of using the local language teaching materials compiled Yi; There has been many shortcomings in the aspects of politics and system when compiling teaching materials by Liangshan Prefecture in Sichuan Province; The concept of compiling is backward, Thus, they affects the quality of local language teaching materials.Therefore, based on the field investigation and analysis of relevant literature, in combination with the Banks of multi-cultural curriculum theory, and according to the local conditions in Liangshan, this study puts forward some strategies to improve the existing problems for compiling the language teaching material in Liangshan Autonomous Prefecture.They include:To lay emphasis on local resource for the development of Yi language,To collect a large number of Yi works, To widen the range of materials, and the content of compiled works should be close to students'real life; To eliminate the drawbacks of the system, to amend the relevant provisions of the policies and systems, to increase funding support, to improve the compilation of teaching materials evaluation mechanism; to change the concept of compilers, to improve the quality of.compilers.The thesis is divided into five parts:preface, the introduction of native Liangshan Yi language and compilation of teaching materials, the analysis of existing problems of compilation, the cause analysis and some strategies to improve compilation. In the first four parts, the author did an investigation research on the existing Liangshan Yi language teaching materials compilation, analyzed and summarized the problems when compiling. In section five, the author puts forward some strategies for the improvement of Liangshan Yi language textbook compilation. Finally, the conclusion section reviews the full text, called for the strengthening of the local Yi language study materials; at the same time, the author points out some limitations and gives a direction of future research.
