This thesis mainly focuses on part two, chapter twelve of The Business of Tourism.Translation materials involve “The hospitality sector: accommodation and catering services.” The author summarizes and analyzes the problems in the translation from the language characteristics of the hotel name and prepositions and uses commonly used methods of translation such as transliteration and free translation. Moreover, the word selection should be appropriate and accurate and the translation should be fluent and conform to the target readers’ thinking mode. Finally, the author wishes that the thesis can provide help and reference for translation practice of similar kinds of text. |
