Quantifier is a major feature of Sino-Tibetan. Among the world’s languages, some there is no quantifier, although some have quantifiers, but not that rich. The number of is very large, and the collocation with nouns and verbs is complex, these have become the major difficulty for the Cambodian students to learn Chinese quantifiers.Cambodian also have quantifiers, but not as rich as Chinese quantifier, there are differences between Chinese quantifiers and Cambodian quantifiers, for example, the collocation with nouns and verbs, and word order and so on. The features that Chinese and Cambodian language quantifiers are some but different drives Cambodian students make some biased-errors, which are different from the Europe, America, Japan and other foreign students made, with its unique characteristics. In this paper, the questionnaire system was used to collect information and data of the biased-errors, that made when. This system summarized the Cambodian students correct rate, bias tendency and types of errors when use, to analyze the cause of those errors, and throw out some quantifiers about teaching the Chinese quantifiers based on that, hoping to help Cambodian students to understand meaning and usage of Chinese quantifiers, and improve the teaching effect of Chinese quantifiers for Cambodian students. This study uses comparative analysis method, questionnaire survey method, and errors-analysis method. In order to explore the causes, difficulties and errors of students learning, this paper made an in-depth comparison about the classification, the semantic and grammatical features and the usage of the Chinese and Cambodian language quantifiers, under the guidance of the theory of comparative analysis. In order to understand the situation of Cambodian students learning Chinese quantifiers and the common errors of using Chinese quantifiers,we take 45 class A quantifiers of "Chinese Proficiency Standards and Grade Outline" (Trial) as the inspection object, prepare to test 123 students, which from the Department of Chinese, Asia and Europe University of Cambodia. Then statistics and analysis the questionnaire. This study found that Cambodia students in the use of quantifiers, the lowest correct rate of quantifiers is:ceng (21.14%)<men(24.39%)<dao(30.08%)<bi(31.71%)<pian(36.59%). The main types are:(1) the shape of the type of errors; (2) the sounds type bias; (3) Near-type bias righteousness; (4) the amount by without word appears bias; (5) the amount of the Pan-word "ge" cause of bias. The main reason cause those errors is:(1) the "teaching":the preparation of teaching materials, classroom teaching; (2) the "learning":Negative transfer of the mother tongue; negative transfer from purpose knowledge; the influence of learning strategies. We suggest that, first, to strengthen the comparative study about the quantifiers of Chinese and Cambodian; second, to improve teaching materials; and third, to improve teaching methods, to take some effective teaching methods, such as the etymological analysis, hierarchical teaching, to help students overcome the difficulties and interference of second language learning.
