Quantifier is one of the difficulties to those overseas students who learn Chinese. As for quantifier itself, the noun classifiers are far more than verb classifiers in quantity. Also the frequency of utilization of noun classifiers is higher, especially for those have similar semantic features-synonym noun classifiers-have become usage obstacles to those overseas students. This paper does a questionnaire survey of the students of three Chinese universities and neatens the corpus of two Chinese universities while gathering large amount of bias error corpus of synonym noun classifiers. By differentiating and analyzing these corpuses, this paper basing the characteristics of the synonym noun classifiers and making a type division of the bias error makes a effort to improve the theoretical basis of the synonym noun classifiers. Moreover, this paper inspects the content arrangements of the synonym noun classifiers of the Chinese Tutorial and the quantifiers definitions of the traditional dictionaries and comes up with its own hypothesis of the quantifiers writings of contemporary textbooks for teaching Chinese as a second language and proposes to compile the learners’dictionary of synonym noun classifiers. At last, this paper inspects the teaching methods of the synonym noun classifiers in class and suggests the improvements of the teaching methods basing on the practical learning states of the overseas students.
