Measure word is relatively unique in modern Chinese, it’s also one of the words, which occurs many errors in the Chinese learning of foreign students, for the Native-speaking Russian learners all the more so, because there is no such word in their ten parts of speech. In field of measure word few focused on ontology research, analysis about errors of learning Chinese nominal measure words to Russian-speaking students is less. From the perspective of error analysis and foreign language teaching, according to the classification of Chinese measure words, to find the expression correspondence of measure words between Russian and Chinese and to analyze types and reasons of errors of learning Chinese nominal measure words to Russian-speaking students have certain academic meaning.We can find corresponding expression of every little classification of Chinese measure words in Russian. In strict sense, there is no little classification, which has exact correspondences with Chinese measure words. Specifically in the correspondence of nominal measure words between Chinese and Russian there are 2 differences as below:one Chinese nominal word can have correspondence with many Russian measure units; one Russian measure unit can have correspondence with many Chinese nominal words.After surveying the usage of Chinese measure words of Native-speaking Russian learners in Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing University and Suzhou University we have found:(1) The longer foreign students learned Chinese, the higher will be accuracy of usage, the lower will be error of usage. (2) Accuracy of nominal measure words is connected with the class of measure words. Class A vocabulary accuracy is high, the class B vocabulary accuracy is low, class C vocabulary is difficult. (3) Parts of those words are affected by homophones and synonyms, accuracy of those words will not be higher as the improvement of learning level. (4) Parts of those words, such as the expression of weights and measures and time, due to the international unified standard, accuracy of those words is high. (5) Accuracy of those words, which have correspondence in Russian and Chinese, is high.According to comparative study and questionnaire investigation of the above conclusion, we finally analyzed the reasons of errors of learning Chinese nominal measure words for Russian-speaking students and gave the corresponding teaching suggestions.
