A Study Of Some Historical Facts In The Period Of Junggar 's

At the beginning of Qing Dynasty, the ZhunGar kingdom was a big political power in the Western Region, and had constant conflict with the Qing Empire for many years. After the death of GaldanCering, the aristocracy group began to fight each other, the kingdom started collapsing from inside. In the Dawaci Khan’s rule, Amursana Taiji leding Qing army captured Dawaci Khan,so the Zhungar kingdom is fallen. Soon, Amursana Taiji launched a rebellion agaist the Qing Dynasty, and called himself "Zhungar Khan", while lots of Taiji and Jaisang were affiliated with the Qing dynasty, this made them fell in a civil war. The Qing Dynasty sent an army to repress the rebellion. Amursana Taiji escaped to Russia, and died there.The Qing army killed multitudes of innocent people during the move of pressing Amursana’s rebellion. Due to limited time and space, this article only discusses three issues that closely related to Amursana’s rebellion, on the basis of newly published Manchu archives, to describe the part which governmental history books didn’t clearly described.This article is divided into three parts. The introduction part discusses how this topic was selected and the research situation. The first part introduce the relationship between Amursana and Hasak Abulai Khan, described Abulai’s attitude towards Amursana:he protected Amursana at the beginning but obeyed the Qing Emperor at the end, he didn’t capture Amursana due to their personal relationship and Kazakh people help Qing plundered Junggar people;the second part, the rebellion of Eren Habirgan Road Taiji and Jaisang and its reason. In this part, the author pointed out that the Zhungar people’s life is extremely hard, Kazakhs, Buluts, Hui Zi also managed to captivity, almost all the people lost their livelihoods. People starved to death and all the nomadic population begged everywhere and eat roots, fruit,dog meat for food. In such circumstances, in order to catch amursana in time, Qing Central government did not help and comfort the nomadics, but forced to levy horses,cows, so made Zhungar peop unsatisfyed and hated them. When khalka people go home from the military mail station,which is called "che yi zhi bian",Junggar Zhong Tai Ji and Zaisang wanted to take the opportunity to get rid of Qing control. The third part, the extermination towards "Mahaqin". After the rebellion of Eren Habirgan Road, the Qing army hunted and killed Junggar’s refugees,which is called "Mahaqin" in the archives. This move was a massacre.
