Chinese opera is a traditional art, with a long history of a thousand year. It has gone through the numerous wave erosion of history, the change of dynasty, and finally emerged until nowadays. Chinese Opera has absorbed the assence from different arts in the process of development. And it also has formed its own law during the time of inheritance. The production of newspaper and outdoor expanded the way of transmission. And the production of television injected Audio-visual elements into the spreading of Chinese Opera. As a result, Chinese opera has abundant way to show its content. Because of the Internet, Chinese opera has a more free communication space, and it’s possible to cultivate young audience and spread overseas.Chinese opera should combine with all kinds of medias nowadays. And different medias also provide a new idea for the development of Chinese opera, as well as strong media supportment in a wide extent. However, as the development of new medias, the spread of Chinese Opera has also met some problems and difficulties.Based on the research before, this thesis tells the history of TV Opera, different forms of combination between TV and opera. At the same time, the thesis emphasises on a new example. Ultimately, the thesis will try to find that how to use different medias better to spread Chinese Opera and to attract more young audience to pay close attention to Chinese Opera.
